Ekbatan Tower Extension and interior design Competition
The contest problem was about redesigning a dead space in a residential building. We looked for a building to have the required potential to define a new space within its unused space. Ekbatan Tower Extension has very large lobby spaces with twice as high as the floor heights. By considering the spaces, we noticed that a very large portion of that area remains unused because no one rarely passes on it. We decided to design a flat within this building that has a separate entrance door, and in addition to creating leisure time for residents, income for the building will also be earned by foreigners’ stays. By using small spaces and mezzanine floors, we managed to create a variety of green spaces and different applications.
